OWA Presents: Flat Rock Cellars

The Chefs' House is delighted to welcome the teams from noted Niagara winery, Flat Rock Cellars, for an exclusive wine dinner. This four-course wine pairing dinner will feature premium, small-batch wines from their cellar.

The vision of Flat Rock Cellars became a reality only after securing the perfect piece of land on the Twenty Mile Bench. The estate benefits from ideal growing conditions, exceptional soil (terroir), and a naturally beautiful landscape with a topography reminiscent of the great vineyards of Burgundy.

Flat Rock Cellars’ vineyards span 80 acres, primarily planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Riesling, along with a small section of Gewürztraminer. These varieties were carefully selected as part of a strategic approach to winemaking, chosen for their suitability to the cooler climate of the Niagara Peninsula, and more specifically, the Twenty Mile Bench.

A commitment to quality winemaking begins with precise control over vineyard yields. At Flat Rock Cellars, all grapes are carefully managed to ensure optimal fruit quality and intense varietal character. Every step of the process, from vineyard to cellar, is guided by the expertise of winemakers and the vineyard manager, who work together to bring out the best from this exceptional terroir.

Flat Rock was awarded OWA Gold for their Gravity Pinot Noir at the Ontario Wine Awards.

The evening will begin with a selection of canapés, followed by a four-course meal paired with wines.

Tickets are limited and priced at $125 + HST and Eventbrite processing fees.
